Mio-Tsukushi Ryouri-Chou plot
Osaka, early 19th century. In a severe flood, Mio not only loses her parents at a young age, but also becomes separated from her childhood friend Noe. Mio is lovingly taken in by the owner of a restaurant in Edo, Tokyo, where she develops into a widely celebrated chef. Noe becomes just as famous, but as a chic courtesan in the entertainment district of Edo.
