The (short) film with which Lukas Dhont graduated in 2014. A film about interactions and the attempt to do so between a returned absent father. A rather abstract vague film about attraction and repulsion. A film that fascinated me mainly because of the cinematography. Dark backgrounds and close-ups of the face and eyes make it a penetrating portrait. I think you can see the lines or style of Girl in it.
