Xin Qiji 1162 plot
In 1161, Wanyan Liang, the emperor of the Jurchen Jin Empire, invades the southern Song Empire. 21-year-old Xin Qiji takes it upon himself to fight back after seeing how the residents suffer. Together with Geng Jing's army, they achieve victory after victory. A year later, Xin Qiji tries to persuade the Emperor of the Song Empire to drive the Jurchen Jin army out of the north once and for all. But then Geng Jing is suddenly killed by a traitor...
