"Cutie and the beast"
A king cannot believe that his beloved daughter, Princess Barbara, is a young adult. He still tries to protect the princess, but 16-year-old Barbara has a tantrum during a birthday party. While everyone is distracted, the throne is seized by the sneaky mailman Weasel. He is now sole ruler in the kingdom and now even wants to marry Barbara. Princess Barbara runs away from the palace and disappears deep into the forest. She hopes Prince Edward defeats the traitor, reinstates the king, and then proposes to Barbara. She gets outlaw Boogey to help her track down Prince Edward. Everything changes when Princess Barbara is kidnapped by a monster...!

English spoken version of Russian production looks like a cheap attempt to match the success of Frozen. Unfortunately, apparently all the budget was spent on the detailed backgrounds. The animation of the characters is substandard, the story is completely stolen and the songs are negligible and poorly sung. It centers on a stubborn princess [Haylie Duff] who is forcibly married off on her sixteenth birthday and decides to flee in the hope of finding her true prince. The most obvious form of plagiarism is the character 'Bublie', a light bulb that inevitably brings back memories of Willy Wortel's Lamp. Yes, apparently things are also sad in Russia in the field of animation.

Watched this Dutch version and it was not bad, but visually it cannot match a Pixar or a Disney. The characters in particular were somewhat variable. The rabbit and the robots were well done, the people less so.
