Land of Dreams plot
In the near future, America has closed its borders and Iranian-born Simin is exploring what it means to be a free American. She works for the Census Bureau, the main government agency that aims to map the dreams of citizens. With this she wants to better understand the population and keep it under control. Simin himself is unaware of this true motive. An immigrant to the US, she finds herself torn between gratitude for the country, compassion for her participants, and ultimately the truth.
