Bombay Mail plot
"MURDER . . . on the Bombay Express! Who did it? Who will be next?"
When the governor of Bengal is brutally murdered during a train ride between Calcutta and Bombay, it's up to Inspector Dyke to solve the murder. He goes in search of the perpetrator, who is hiding somewhere among the passengers. The suspects include the governor's wife, his two secretaries, a rogue gambler, an entertainer who is not quite what she seems, a mineralogist on his way to claim a ruby field, a pickpocket, a British troublemaker and a cobra.
