Charlotte plot
"An account of German-Jewish artist Charlotte Salomon living in the south of France between 1941 and 1943."
The Jewish Charlotte Salomon is a young girl from Berlin. She is about to come of age when World War II is upon us. She is incredibly talented and has an imaginative imagination with which she hopes to become an artist. But the current situation puts her dream - and her life - in jeopardy, causing her to exchange Berlin for the south of France. There she resumes her passion and finds love. When a family tragedy uncovers a secret, Charlotte gets the idea to portray her life story on the canvas.
