Exes Maggie and Jeff are still best friends, which has been an advantage in raising their two daughters Mia and Sophie. Even after the split, they spend the Christmas season together. This changes when Jeff gets a new girlfriend named Kate, and they take the girls to Aspen for the upcoming holidays. Not only will it be Maggie's first time without her daughters, Mia and Kate also seem to have become best friends. When Maggie is invited to join them, she jumps at the chance to save her Christmas.
