Cherry is a boy who cannot communicate well and expresses his feelings by writing haikus. He always wears headphones so he doesn't have to respond to other people. Smile is a girl who always wears a mask to hide her large front teeth. She makes videos about cute things, but doesn't see herself that way. One sunny day they meet in a shopping center. They grow closer and spend a magical summer together.

Nice romantic film that takes you back to your own childhood experiences in which small insecurities felt incredibly big afterwards. In this film overcome by a teenage love. Extra depth by helping an old man to relive his own childhood love.

A sweet film. Visually sometimes very beautiful with lots of details, but especially the outdoor scenes are drawn very simply and not really my style. This is really a film that does not really interest me as a whole, but where especially the small (and often recognizable) moments are very nice. Those kinds of moments together give the film a sufficient, even though the film did not always manage to keep the attention. 3.0*.

After Blue Box and Dangers in my Heart, I'm scouring Netflix for coming of age animes. Of course, this plot also appeals to me enormously. Because it doesn't have the length of a series, it's all very rushed and the film doesn't go very deep. But within the short playing time, Word bubble up like Soda Pop manages to convince. The colors splash further from the screen in a special animation style that I could enjoy, but I also understand if people don't like this.
Just a nice and sweet little movie.
