Granted, only watched this one because he's from Vatican City. Another country to add to the list. On the other hand, I am quite attracted to popes and the rituals of the Vatican and the Catholic Church, although I need to know little about the latter as an Institute in itself. Call it a kind of respect as the aftermath of my Christian-Catholic upbringing.

Documentary not really that interesting. Expected more from the processes behind Ratzinger's pope election and abdication. The public speeches and speeches of both take up too much screen time and were not innovative. The documentary captures little that I didn't already know.

Although almost a polar opposite of the Pantzerkardinal, Pope Francis also has a hard time guiding the old dogmas and old-fashioned ideas of the Church through the 21st century. That was proven once again with the latest statements that were made about homosexuality.

This production just like the two above users here purely because of the country, then I can tick one off again. Docu looks like a cheap TV production from the 90s, even with those moving letters on screen. Although not bad, the documentary mainly zooms in on less fascinating aspects, often also on long monologues. That is not always exciting. 2.0*.
