The Crush plot

Eight-year-old schoolboy Ardal falls in love with his kind teacher, Miss Purdy. One day he gives her a toy ring to show his affection. But he is overcome with heartbreak when he runs into Miss Purdy and her boyfriend who have just bought a very real engagement ring. Ardal decides her boyfriend isn't good enough for her, so he challenges him to a duel – to the death.
