Akilla's Escape plot
Akilla Brown is a 40-year-old drug trafficker who sees a routine job turn into an armed robbery. He makes it out alive and captures one of the thieves, the Jamaican teenager Sheppard. Those who hired Akilla give him a night to recover the stolen drugs. When he discovers Sheppard's gang has ties to a criminal organization that he himself fell into as a child, Akilla must confront his traumatic past.
