Niks Vreemds Aan plot

Suus loves her somewhat average life and her husband Mats, but knows very well that the fire in her marriage has been extinguished for a while. In a valiant effort to revive the passion, she signs them up for a swingers app on a spontaneous impulse. Too busy writing his new book, Mats agrees thoughtlessly, unaware of what he was actually being asked to do. But when Xander and Danielle show up on the doorstep, it all becomes very real. Xander is happy with himself and with his attractive girlfriend Danielle, but he likes excitement and plays with the idea of swinging once. Daniëlle, on the other hand, is less enthusiastic, yet Xander manages to convince her to give swinging a chance once.

The Netherlands at its narrowest in this awkward, adolescent romantic comedy packed with sex jokes. Over-40s and confirmed bachelor Lot [Tina de Bruin] finds a naked man [Juvat Westendorp] on her balcony. Xander [Frederik Brom] begs Daniëlle [Peggy Vrijens] to sign up for an app for swingers, Suus [Ilse Warringa] even registers without the permission of her husband Mats [Loek Peters]. Brom scores highest on the insufferability meter in this disgusting romantic comedy, clearly written by someone with zero insight into the nature and why of Swingers. The fifth time that Ekis filmed this story, each time in a different language.
