Wittgenstein Plays Chess with Marcel Duchamp, or How Not to Do Philosophy plot

This project pushes the boundaries of film by juxtaposing the medium with ideas from philosophy, visual arts, chess, mathematics, geometry, language and psychology. The film is an animation that examines the perception of the surface and examines whether the inference of hidden depth is justified or a mistake. Particularly in reference to the ideas of Duchamp and Wittgenstein and referring to their shared interest in chess, where it is known that nothing is hidden.
