Girl in the Basement plot
Sara is a teenage girl with a domineering father named Don. She is looking forward to her eighteenth birthday, because then she can leave the house. Just before her birthday, however, Sara is locked up in the basement by Don. There she is beaten and raped by him, while her mother and sister think she has run away. The years pass and Sara gives birth to several children.
