In June 1934, Hitler realizes that he wants absolute power. He decides that he must put an end to the power of the Brownshirts. After a long time of hesitation, Hitler, pistol in hand, invades Hotel Hanselbauer, where his best friend Röhm and various leaders of the Brown Shirts are present. This action heralds the beginning of the Night of the Long Knives.
