From his penthouse, a man sees a woman fall from the roof across the street. Far away, a cowboy on the prairie hears a woman calling for help. She is strapped to the rails as a train approaches at great speed. Meanwhile, the seven dwarfs learn that Snow White is in distress and could be poisoned by a witch at any moment. All immediately spring into action to save the ladies. Unfortunately they are not very good at that...

The humor lies in the bad luck the "rescuers" experience, and certainly also in the whimsical artwork and the accompanying tune.
I watched it twice to get into the story and appreciate it for what it is, and it certainly turns out better than what you experience on a first viewing. A brisk pace and some allusions to well-known stories can also be detected in it, in my opinion.

There is a lot packed into this short story with delightful suspense. With the necessary humor and nods to other stories. Created by the Dutchman Paul Driessen, who received an Oscar nomination for it. Years earlier, he was one of the animators on the Beatles animated film Yellow Submarine. It is difficult to compare the style with the 30-year gap. The music by Michiel Heeneman fits the whole beautifully.
