"Every family has secrets."
In the winter of 1843, a faithful family gathers in a remote farm to deal with the death of their grandmother. Revisited. Remains an atmospheric, patiently constructed film. Perhaps with some misleading marketing, since the horror elements in The Last Thing Mary Saw remain very limited. However, the film does have excellent acting by Stefanie Scott, Isabelle Fuhrman and Judith Anna Roberts. Director Edoardo Vitaletti gives his project a somewhat confusing content, but has a lot of control over the design and that results in an amusing threat that erupts infectiously towards the end. The finale remains rock solid and leaves a strong mark on the entire film. So the rating remains the same.
