In the near future, the all-seeing government has found a new way to collect taxes. She researches the dreams of the citizens. Well-mannered government agent James Preble travels to the mansion of the elderly Arabella Isadora for such an investigation. The eccentric artist turns out to have a huge collection of video tapes.

Colorful, adventurous and entertaining mix of unbridled childlike and fairytale fantasy, a Lynch-esque surrealism of dreams running through reality and an Inception-esque retro-style dystopian science fiction, resulting in an ode to the imagination and the art with a twist social criticism in which love turns out to be a binding force that transcends space and time.

Original, dreamy film about a well-mannered government agent whose job is to collect taxes on dreams. The almost childlike design of the film has been nicely realized and here and there the film has a surreal, almost David Lynch-like atmosphere, but the plot and characters are too unstable to really make something memorable. The meager budget and substandard camera work do not exactly add value either.
