No Hay Camino plot

No Hay Camino follows documentary maker Heddy Honigmann on her world tour, both physically and spiritually. Honigmann, who is suffering from MS in a terminal phase, travels one last time to her native Peru. She continues her journey to Europe, to visit again all the important places in her life and to relive events, with fragments from her own films. Is it a farewell trip where she says goodbye to her family, her loved ones and her work? Or is it a celebration of life? Her travel partner is taxi driver Hussein, an Iraqi refugee with whom Heddy forms a close bond.
