Bitter Love plot

On a river cruise on the Volga, some travelers hope to escape worry, emptiness, relationships, regrets or just reality. As peaceful and friendly-looking Russian villages and landscapes glide by, young and old alike struggle with love and high expectations. In the privacy of the ship and in the knowledge that everyone will soon go their own way again, the heartwarming, sometimes somewhat melancholic people on board take an unusually vulnerable position.
