Towards the end, the film undergoes a surprising, yet somewhat nasty, distasteful twist (the blood) that actually distracts us a bit from the essence of what came before.

Here I wondered that the pain that the bullied must endure, but also the preliminary fear of being humiliated and reviled in any given situation, must undoubtedly have an impact on the future life of such a young person, perhaps just aloofness to the point of resentment, even possibly hatred...

The short film scores higher points for me than the feature film from a few years later, partly because I was slightly disappointed in (the sequel to) the film. Also with Laura Galan, nice to have that recognisability. I thought it was funny and a bit karma here. It also ends simply, so you don't wonder about the further development of the plot. It's more of a 'sketch'. There are also minor differences with the feature film. Here she is given a T-shirt, in the film a bath towel. The poster is of course different (no blood), because otherwise the plot would not make sense. I doubt whether she is deliberately harboring 'revenge' at the moment, it is more of a frozen shock reaction. This is further developed in the feature film.
