Harry, an engineer working in Colombia, is kidnapped. His brother and friends organize an amateur rescue operation together with mercenary Shrike (Duvall). Both director and actors preferred to forget this B-movie and hoped that the audience would forget it too, which is what happened. Although it never really disappoints, the dialogues are simplistic and could even be called adolescent. The explosive ending also breathes low budget and the bad guy is a disgrace. Duvall with his sturdy biker look still offers some viewing pleasure, but Busey is annoying as always.

I saw it once on tv with my dad, I thought I remembered that I liked him then. Now after almost 30 years I have reviewed it on the new bluray edition of Imprint Australia (First time on bluray worldwide). Image and sound were in any case very good.

The movie itself.. oh no not good. Really a heavy low-budget B-movie. Only Duvall did okay, and Busey was ok. Furthermore a small role of Elpidia Carrillo, who they meet in the jungle and who goes to 'help' them, although she disappears without a trace from the movie after 10 minutes. She played Anna in Predator. The soundtrack was also quite nice.
