Oh well.

Secretly I could still appreciate it to a certain extent. I watched the movie mainly to buy some time while I was waiting. Maybe it was because of that moment, but films like this still manage to be effective in that way. On the other hand, you simply cannot expect normal quality from a title like this.

For me, the threat in particular works quite well. Andrew Jones seems to want to work cheaply and churns out these kinds of films all the time, but Halloween Jack is a bit more successful in terms of design. Nice detail, those luminous eyes. Makes it a slightly more interesting villain. Its effect is no longer very original, but it is still smooth.

The film opens quite explosively and it definitely doesn't take long before the ball starts rolling. The murders are a bit tame and the quality is not very high, but the short duration of the film as well as a reasonable pace ensure that the film is not completely disastrous. And again, maybe this was due to the moment I watched it, but it didn't bother me much.

Again, not high quality, but for those who have already seen a lot of horror films and are looking for empty-headed and simple entertainment that doesn't even reach 90 minutes, they can easily use films like this. Jones will probably never make a better film than this and you have to be okay with that, but secretly I still had something to do with it. In the end it remains a messily edited and decorated film and it is difficult to rate it satisfactorily, but it is not the bottom of the barrel either.

Not too good. Not that scary anyway. A murderer who walked rather stiffly and posed little threat, despite his death. The underlying plot is also too crazy to go crazy, with a kind of sect and its leader taking revenge for the roll-up of their hobby a few years ago.

No charismatic characters, a lot of hormones indeed, police who had to pass off as idiots, no, it was not very high-quality at all. And I'm not even talking about the very lame acting. I especially found it very comical as the horror level remained below par.

And then there's that bum who has to steal the show. He who knows everything, but is not taken seriously by anyone. What a mess. If you really have nothing to do for 80 minutes...
