Drain the Titanic plot
This documentary uses meticulous digital 3D reconstructions of the Titanic wreckage from thousands of underwater photos. The film paints a clear picture of entire parts of the ship that are obscured by the darkness of the water more than two miles below the ocean's surface. The digital images are very similar to what one would expect what the actual wreckage would look like if the surrounding ocean could be pumped out.
