Nadia is a young married Palestinian woman who visits Huda's Salon for a haircut. This visit will change Nadia's life forever. Huda blackmails her and gives her the impossible choice of betraying her own people or Huda will reveal a dark secret of Nadia. Their fate is mysteriously determined by freedom fighter Hasan.

The beauty salon of Huda [Manal Awad] is a cover of the Israeli secret service. She drugs Reem [Maisa Abd Elhadi], who is free to travel between Palestine and Israel, and takes compromising photos, forcing Reem to spy. Soon after, Huda is exposed by the Palestinian resistance and interrogated by Hasan [Ali Suliman]. Although the introduction and epilogue betray a clear pro-Palestinian point of view, the Palestinian-Dutch Abu-Assad does not get bogged down in demagoguery. Instead, he delivers a smooth, exciting thriller with wonderful roles for Awad and Elhadi, who received so many threats because of some nude scenes that they had to go into hiding for some time.

I didn't think it was that special. A young woman is blackmailed by her hairdresser to spy against her people. The hairdresser is soon picked up by resistance fighters and pressured to identify the women who work for her. Meanwhile, Reem lives in fear and does not dare say a word about it to her husband, whom she no longer loves.
It is a fairly thin story, which also makes no effort to increase tension and intrigue. It remains a rehashed moral dilemma about patriotism that has already been dealt with much better in other films.
