Punk punk Simon is on the run after being involved in arson. He finds shelter with the eccentric Patty, who is a fan of his rock band. They get to know each other better and discover that they have a lot in common. They enter into a relationship.

Due to a rather vague description of the film on another site, I thought I had a road movie for me, but that turned out not to be true!
Nice film though, doesn't really follow a standard storyline and the atmosphere feels very free. Aimed at a young audience.
Clearly some thought has gone into how everything should fit together. The recurring moments at the table, for example, were hilarious.
I think the visual and the support of the music with the story are successful. The jokes are also good and the characters well written.
But actually this is not a film that is served by too much poop: just watch it I would say!

Excellent film about a punk rocker on the run who hides out with a girl and her family. The course is not easy to predict (especially during the first half). Nevertheless, the second half is where the somewhat unconventional relationship between the two main characters takes shape. Quite funny here and there, entertaining characters where Kyle Gallner and Emily Skeggs manage to bring fun together. A narrow 4.0 stars.
