Maya is a quirky little bee. Her best friend is Willi, with whom she gets along well. When the two rescue an ant princess, they find themselves in the middle of an epic insect battle that will take them to strange new worlds and test their friendship to the limit.

Maya [Coco Jack Gillies] and Willie [Benson Jack Anthony] rescue the baby ant Smoosh [Evie Gillies], but become lost in the process. Smoosh's disappearance threatens to ignite a battle between the ants and the beetles, led by the equally combative and self-absorbed Bumbulus [Christian Charisiou]. Overall, a mediocre remake of Maya The Bee Movie. Clearly, more attention was paid to the sets (which are better than before) than to an original story, and Cleary could easily have omitted the musical interludes.
