Si le Vent Tombe plot
The engineer Alain works at airports and is given the task of assessing those of Nagorno-Karabakh, a region declared itself a republic. A positive evaluation would be a good step towards international recognition as a republic. Upon arrival in the republic, Alain encounters an absurd reality: there is no plane in sight. In addition, it will be difficult for him to reconcile the imposed regulations with the current circumstances within the region.

Alain is a cool, functional man who carries out his government assignment seriously and punctually, but gradually becomes impressed by the local aspirations and, above all, the way of life that affects him.
When wartime also clarifies the unsafe, uncertain and confused character of the new republic, a different reality dawns on him.
The ending has a surprising climax when slowly realizes that under those circumstances his report would have been worthless and that his assignment was nothing but blindfolded and air.
The film is seasoned with a few side stories that paint a typical picture of the region and its inhabitants.
Good movie.

Interesting subject and pretty nice cinematography. And something different, such a Nagorno-Karabakh. But the film is nevertheless unnecessarily slow and quite boring. Shame.
