Quite erratic in terms of structure, but it is clear that there are two completely different, initially very ambitious people on the run here.
Neither one nor the other finds what he was looking for or thought he could process. But the war is brutal...
Remarkable in the film are the two scenes that take place in an orderly space in front of a ruined building that seems to be part of the interior. Contrast between two worlds, the latter of which is one of chaos and violence and shattered illusions?

Two Belgians who go to Syria, each with their own goals and dreams. A special film style with their salvaged house that has been shot to pieces with the destroyed streets in some Syrian city in the background. It looked like a set from a stage performance.
Good camera work and editing. Quite exciting too and definitely enjoyed it. It also shows that the war sucks everyone in. And nothing is black and white.
