Rakka plot
In a dystopian future, an alien race has colonized Earth. This alien race experiments on humans and also exterminates them. A group of humans led by Jasper fights back against the alien race. However, they have a lot of trouble with this.

I mainly know Neill Blomkamp from District 9, that surrealistic alien invasion that was actually a metaphor for Apartheid. Here too he plays with aliens that look very crocodile-like. Humanity has been subjected to them and life on Earth has been completely drained.
Fine and handsome images of this new apocalyptic world. The plot is a bit rambunctious and a bit messy. There is no real line, but on the other hand, the images make up for a lot.

Same problem as Firebase and the rest of this series: it all looks fantastic, a grandiose violent comic sf pulp fantasy that leaves you wanting more but the story is not finished. As if you have eaten a super tasty but tiny dish in a very expensive restaurant and then want to get something from the chip shop because you are still dying of hunger.
