Island of Shadows plot

Writer Carly and her husband Kevin go on vacation to the mansion of Carly's distant family. Kevin thinks it's a good time to work on his relationship with Carly, but is unaware that she intends to investigate the unsolved murder of Diana Crawford. Carly visits the local library and chats with people who knew the Crawfords. She gets help from Lauren, a woman who appears out of nowhere.
