The Last Days of American Crime plot
The US government is making one last-ditch effort to fight terrorism and crime by sending out a signal that makes it impossible for anyone to knowingly commit crimes. Graham Bricke, a career criminal who never made it big, teams up with famed mobster offspring Kevin Cash and black market hacker Shelby Dupree. They want to commit the heist of the century and the last crime in American history before the signal goes off.

Mediocre crime film. The story is quite nice, but the execution could have been better. Megaton takes his time to get to the climax of the film. As a result, the run-up, the beginning of the film, is a bit on the boring side and feels unnecessarily long. As a viewer you hope that the long wait will be rewarded. Unfortunately that is only partly because the ending is quite nice but does not offer the expected fireworks. Other than that, the film looks fine. The actors do an average job. Although Copley's role remains somewhat unclear and hangs in the balance to straighten out the ending. Meh. 2.5/3.0

Well, in terms of story itself it's quite okay and so are the action and atmosphere. But it lasts too long and is indeed slow, if 45 minutes or so had been cut off it might have been a little better, but who knows
