Amsterdam, June 1945. the Jewish Otto Frank enters the house on the Prinsengracht, where he was in hiding with his family from 1942 to 1944 during the Second World War. In the attic he finds the diary of his daughter Anne and while reading it he looks back on their life at that time, seen through Anne's eyes.
