Kuro no Hôkokusho plot
Takanobu Kakimoto, the director of Fuji Foods, is murdered in his living room. Akira Kido, a young prosecutor from Chiba, is appointed to lead the murder case. He is promised a promotion to the Tokyo District Court if he succeeds in bringing the trial to a successful conclusion and having the suspect found guilty. But the lawsuit is more complicated than he expected.
