Macabro plot
Serra dos Orgaos, Brazil. There are seedy types walking around who commit horrific murders, with a necrophilic side. The locals are immediately convinced that the two black boys of the village are behind the deeds and want to see them hanged as soon as possible. Special and realistic film based on true events. A minus was that I saw the dubbed French spoken version. The original version probably would have been even better. The acting was fine. The atmosphere was well created, in a beautiful landscape. Fascinating film with occasionally violent images. A film with a strong plot, far from documentary-like, except for the newspaper articles during the credits.
