Kids Run plot
Andi's life is a constant battle for his home, his three children and the woman he still loves. He has only two weeks to pay her back the loaned 5,000 euros. When he loses his job, a boxing tournament seems the only solution. Will he succeed in achieving his goal?

Former boxer Andi [Jannis Niewöhner] must raise his children Nikki [Eline Doenst] and Ronni [Giuseppe Bonvissuto] on his own and shares custody of baby Fiou [Sophia Demer] with Sonja [Lena Tronina]. Andi wants Sonja back, who is now in a relationship with Mike [Rostyslave Bome] and, for Fiou's sake, won't break off ties with Andi. Andi risks everything for a boxing match that he hopes will save him from financial hardship. The direction, camerawork, editing, and acting (especially by Doenst) are top-notch, but the depressing story is predictable and has a forced, unbelievable happy ending.
