Were really reasonable stories and this time from India. Especially that story about that naughty nurse who thought that Mrs. was demented and retarded. Does she come back to that or is that really the case?

And the last story about grandma, grandma who still plays a major role in the family, even after her death.

As a newcomer, the new wife becomes very crazy about this and tries to get rid of the "granny glorification". Will she succeed without any problems or will she make the problems worse? And is grandma really still there or are we all seeing shadows that are not there?

To be honest, we didn't expect such decisive stories, but as always: "Tastes differ"!

A spacious 7+!

Anthology from India.

I once put it on my watch list on Netflix, and it came out of the draw last night, so I put it on. I'll be honest and say that I wasn't looking forward to those 144 minutes, but I get through anthologies quickly, so I was hoping for a decent result.

I can honestly say it was better than I expected. I mainly expected an amateurish whole from this film, which was put together by 4 bad directors. I'm surprised in that regard, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still not good.

Story 1 (2.0*). Fairly simple whole. To a large extent, it actually doesn't get any further than a female who may be clairvoyant. The horror never manages to be exciting, the pay-offs are missing and the house lacks a bit of atmosphere. Bad acting. A very strong twist as a rescue.

Story 2 (1.0*). This was really terrible. What went wrong with the directing here? I have rarely seen such a forced way to create atmosphere. And it goes completely off track. Black and white that adds nothing. Very bad acting. Story that makes no sense. Small points for relatively successful CGI.

Story 3 (2.5*). Regarded several times as the best short film. That's true. It has the most atmosphere and brutal gore. Cheap and clumsy villains, but there is certainly atmosphere at times and it also has a creative twist. Reasonable entertainment and quite digestible acting.

Story 4 (2.0*). It has the potential to be good, but it isn't. Lots of chaos throughout the story. Random switch between English and Hindi language use. Not much tension and a bit of clumsy horror. Very charmingly decorated and a strong last 3 minutes. But in general quite a chaotic whole.

Ultimately, this amounts to an average of 1.8, so rounded to 2.0*. Takes a very long time, but not too bad if I look at my expectations. But still not very good unfortunately. Story 3 is indeed still doable.

Horror from India and an anthology of 144 minutes As a result, I watched the film in two turns and the first two stories immediately disappeared from memory. In any case, the first story is not good and the second is bad. The third story is perhaps the best of the 4, although the execution is only mediocre. It all seems very fake. The fourth story was not too bad in terms of structure and is interesting to follow. Unfortunately, the effect here is also very mediocre and in terms of horror you are left wanting. 4/10
