Modesta plot

Modesta, a peasant woman, rebels against her husband's authoritarian nature. After she hits him on the head with a stick, the news spreads like wildfire. Together with other women in her community who are in the same boat, she founded the Liberated Women League to fight for their rights as women, mothers and wives.
