This, how could it be otherwise, I saw with my daughter. Nice and intimate pushing aside the serious responsible structure of mom and going along with the ill-considered ideas of the dad. Of course it helps that mom is abroad a lot.

Very nice family film that makes you dream of throwing the fixed roles and expectations overboard. Don't we all want to do that, act crazy and really do what you always wanted to do, but just don't dare anymore? Because it's not possible financially, relationally or because society doesn't expect that from you either.

Johan Heldenbergh has a bit more to offer than this, but I can imagine that this was a nice snack. Entertaining and funny at times, especially the comments of the more mature daughter Fien.

Nice ending too that luckily doesn't go on the corny unrealistic tour, nice and down to earth with a good compromise. For a moment I thought his career was going to take off with that role of Bergerac. Luckily this didn't.

Zoë [Savannah Vandendriessche] is struggling to settle in at the new school. It doesn't help that everyone at home is mainly concerned with themselves: her father Paul [John Haldenberg] has a boring job at the bank, her mother [Hilde De Baerdemaeker] travels the world to do business for her father's bonbon factory [Serge- Henri Valcke], sister Fien [Jade de Ridder] is vanity itself and brother Kas [Ferre Vuye] is completely absorbed in environmental activism. Until a 'second big bang' makes Paul decide to quit his job and pursue an old dream: a career in acting! Zoë learns a different side of her father. And inevitably also from her family, … and herself! A wonderful family drama that gives the cliché of "rewinding" an original impulse and has a heartwarming, yet lighthearted message about the importance of family and being together.
