"It's about to get twisted"
Savanna Dane is a circus performer who has to deal with the wrath of a bunch of clowns led by her husband Big Ronnie. After Ronnie and his gang of clowns kill her lover, she enlists the help of a witch. The witch casts a curse on the clowns. The clowns manage to get around the curse and continue to terrorize Savannah by manifesting themselves with the energy emanating from a raging tornado.

Haha what a wonderful movie. I've never seen such great nonsense. The most idiotic characters are staged, the acting is wonderfully bad and the special effects are almost hilarious.

A group of supernatural and extremely boring clowns fly through a town and bloody tear apart all kinds of random people. That is the single sentence that can be used to describe this C-film by director Todd Sheets in its entirety. The concept of a tornado sucking up the clowns and planting them somewhere at your own request is of course stupid, but an ideal excuse to go all out in terms of fun. Unfortunately, Sheets crams his film full of completely uninteresting characters and even adds dramatic plot elements to the whole. The cast members reminded me of actors and actresses who have been rejected thousands of times at other auditions and then saw this as their last hope, because there is a great lack of acting talent here. The leader of the clowns doesn't do much other than look stupid and laugh in a forced way, which also makes the opponents of the protagonists fall hard. Perhaps the most special aspect of Clownado is that Sheets managed to stretch the whole thing to almost 100 minutes. The make-up effects are practical and exceptionally graphic, but otherwise this movie was an absolute horror to get through and the enjoyment other users have gotten from it is completely lost on me personally.
