Hadn't expected much from this based on Tsangari's Attenberg, but this was actually a wonderfully bizarre work. A kind of Innocence concept but then brought with a hefty dash of absurdism. The rather deadpan delivery that is quite typical of the whole Weird Greek Wave also fits perfectly here and only emphasizes the absurdity of the film even more.

It's probably a bit of an acquired taste, this kind of weird, pretentious art house. But for people who, like me, often find a Lanthimos a bit too boring / good, this might be recommended. Out of that whole 'movement', this is the superlative in terms of craziness. Enjoyed it, small 4*.

Bizarre, but therefore not an uninteresting short. The lady in question seems to me to be Deniz Gamze Ergüven indeed. Surreal with some Dali traits. Creative and fresh, but that's not why I can tie a rope to it. That little figure from the mouth or the look in the head of that one lady. It also subconsciously reminded me of the wonderful animation film La Planète Sauvage (Film, 1973), which I think can still be seen on Mubi.
