For a long time, scientist and writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) was considered a womanizer. However, it is now believed that in reality he had hardly any physical experience with women. During his stay in Italy he lived in complete freedom and discovered that boys prostituted themselves on the street. This documentary tries to unravel the truth from a historical perspective.
