Waiting for Anya plot
It's World War II and a young shepherd named Jo discovers a dangerous secret: Jewish children are smuggled from Nazi-occupied France to safe Spain. When German soldiers enter the city, it becomes much more difficult. Jo, his grandfather Henri and accomplices, Benjamin and the widow Horcada, come up with a plan to get the children across the border. The plan requires the entire town to help the children escape and relies on the German soldiers not noticing what is happening. But if they get caught, their lives won't be worth living anymore.
