Malchik Russkiy plot
In a trench during World War I, a Russian soldier loses his sight during a German gas attack. Still, he has to fight on. Because of his keen hearing, he is kept at the front and used to listen for enemy aircraft. It uses gigantic metal pipes that form a kind of early warning system.
