Emilija plot

"Freedom is forbidden."

Kaunas (Lithuania), spring 1972. Looking for a job with a drama group, the young woman Emilija gets caught up in an anti-Soviet demonstration. She is arrested and ends up on the desk of a KGB agent. She is particularly interested in the collection of patriotic poems written long ago by her executed father. After her release, Emilija reports to a theater group that is preparing a controversial play.
