Danmarks Sønner plot
A year after Denmark was rocked by a deadly bomb attack, ultra-nationalist politician Martin Nordahl is leading the polls with his National Movement. The mood in society towards ethnic minorities is quickly hardening. Nineteen-year-old Zakaria sees the need to take action and even abandons his mother and brother to do so. Malik is faced with a similar dilemma, who as an intelligence officer tries to confront the growing threat professionally. He is investigating, among other things, an extreme right-wing group that targets 'ethnically impure Danes' – people like himself and his family – and that may have ties to the politician Nordahl.
