Hollywood aan de Schelde plot
Documentary about the history of Flemish film. Over the years, Robbe De Hert, together with Joke Sluydts, interviewed many prominent figures from the film world: new generations such as Adil El Arbi and Billal Fallah, established values such as Erik Van Looy and Jan Verheyen, but also long-dead greats such as Hugo Claus, Bobbejaan Schoepen. and André Delvaux. These interviews are interspersed with unique archive images, fragments from almost 100 years of Flemish films and recordings on film sets and premieres. 'Hollywood on the Scheldt' tells the impressive story of Flemish film history: from the successful neighborhood cinemas about the first Flemish films to the success stories of Jan Verheyen, Stijn Coninx and Lukas Dhont.
