Well, if you're going to watch a Christmas movie from Hallmark you know what to expect. I can therefore not judge the film (too hard ) on that. But even for a hallmark Christmas movie, this one still scores a bit below average. The acting is very bad and made (does Michael Cassidy really only have one facial expression that he can use?), the sets are too fake (how can you give that fake snow such a fake look?) and what is it? all thick on top. Of course the story is completely predictable, but the biggest problem for me is the lack of story: it would have been nice if they had thought about this for a half day longer. And the film still lacks the real Christmas atmosphere (the failed fake sets don't help with that). Hallmark makes over 40 Christmas movies a year and they don't take more than 1-2 weeks to produce them. Then you shouldn't be too critical: it's about quantity, not quality. And it's almost Christmas. That's why, especially from the Christmas spirit, still 2 full stars for this nothing.
