"Pop isn't always pretty"

Nash is followed for several years in her efforts to remain creatively independent and to be able to pay the rent. Her video diaries, images from recording sessions and spectacular performances show what she has to fight against. Through trial and error, we see Nash mature as a businesswoman and a creative mind, showing other young women that they can live – and create – on their own terms. Nash pays for her third album entirely out of her own pocket, organizes a successful world tour and moves to Los Angeles because she sees more opportunities for herself there, as an actress for example.
